Rebecca Bradley keeps a great website where she talks about both her own writing as well as other writers, with a focus on crime fiction. She has a really fascinating series where she talks to authors about their process of getting that ever elusive first draft completed. She asked if I would be interested in participating and I was happy to do so.
My interview is live now on her site. I hope you find it interesting. I also encourage you to look at the other interviews to see how different every writer’s approach can be. I know the first draft for Tower of Fools (just recently completed) was pretty rough for me. Hopefully the next will go a bit smoother.
Those out there eager for insights to the next book will find some vague hints in the article. Much of what you see may well change by the time the final novel is published, but it’ll give you a few ideas at least.
